Inauguration of the MV Chipol Chang Jiang

SeaWorks is proud to announce the inauguration of the first new-build vessel of their partner Hong Fa Shipping Ltd for which SeaWorks acts as General Agents in South American region.

Mv. Chipol Chang Jiang was baptized on 8th of January 2015 at the yard on a sunny and cold day. Over 100 guests attended the festivity and were able to board the ship.

We herewith present you some visuals giving an impression of the versatility of this ship. The Mv. Chang Jiang and her 3 sister vessel s are true Multipurpose vessels able to carry and lift your project cargo, general and break-bulk cargo up to 520 Mtns unit weight on her 8000 SQM under deck space!

The holds are 100 pct. box and open enabling the ship to carry not only break-bulk and project cargoes but also commodities like wood pulp, non-ferro, steels, granite and bulk cargoes

The combination of the size, gear and hold layout makes Mv. Chipol Chang Jiang unique.

Mv. Chipol Chang Jiang will be followed by 3 further sisters. The next one, Mv. Huang He (see picture), is presently under construction and will enter service by March/April 2015!
