Intermodal South America 2016
SeaWorks and HongFa participated as exhibitor on the Intermodal trade show in Sao Paulo this year. The Intermodal South America attracts over 45000 professional visitors from the industry and the SeaWorks/HongFa combination was novice as an exhibitor in this year’s edition.
With a stand of over 50 square meter we were pleased to welcome over 250 visitors on our stand to meet the team, enjoy a drink and exchange ideas to develop ongoing,- current- and future- projects. SeaWorks and Hong Fa staff from Brazil, Argentina, Uruguay, Europe and China were present to meet our customers and suppliers, making this a truly international event.
Both SeaWorks and HongFa offer competitive ocean transport solutions for break-bulk cargo to and from Brazil, providing monthly semi liner services to/from China and Europe on modern Heavylift vessels. We are pleased to underline our expansion and dedication to the service in South American Brazil by adding a 5th vessel joining the Far East fleet in September 2016. We are striving to provide the best possible breakbulk service in the market at combative prices and short transits” says Stefan Pompe Director at SeaWorks.
Sao Paulo was a very successful event for the Group and we were pleased with the large number of visitors to meet and greet our representatives and talk about business opportunities. We hope to see you all again at the Intermodal 2017 edition.
Hong Fa currently operates 4 of the so-called Blue Whale type multipurpose vessels featuring 520 metric ton combined lifting capacity, over 8000 square meter under deck space and a cargo intake of 36.000 DWAT with a fifth one coming into service September 2016.
SeaWorks operates 12500 DWAT Multipurpose vessels with lifting capabilities of up to 160 Metric ton and over 2600 square meter under deck space and has eight of these vessels available to the service.
