SeaWorks is an ambitious company owned by Tjeerd Veldhuizen, founder of the company. SeaWorks stands for a long experience and tradition in the maritime world: dedication, client and solution oriented and customer satisfaction.
Tjeerd Veldhuizen
Tjeerd Veldhuizen is the Managing Director coming from a nautical family and having worked for various shipping companies. Started with Spliethoff in Amsterdam, his career took him via Scandinavia and hence to NEPA Shipping.
Thereafter he joined Trinitas which company he took over in 1997 by a MBA. Trinitas was changed into a semi-liner service between Europe and East Coast South America, with side services to North and West Africa.
From 2000 upto 2010, Trinitas had a joint venture with Intermarine LLC and in 2010 the activities of Trinitas were merged with Intermarine and Tjeerd became Managing Director for Intermarine in Europe.
After leaving the Intermarine Group, Tjeerd established SeaWorks BV.

Bart Peters
SeaWorks is pleased to announce that Mr. Bart Peters has joined the company since September.
Bart is young but a veteran in the shipping industry. A lawyer by study he has started his career at Spliethoff. Starting off at operations, soon his commercial skills were regarded. From there on he moved further and ultimately became a director at Spliethoff developing trades to South America and into the Great Lakes.
Bart brings in broad skills and is a specialist in breakbulk and project cargoes since 1991. Bart will focus on business development and chartering activities.
SeaWorks, having the DNA of a Breakbulk and Project operator, warmly welcomes Bart onboard and looks forward to a fresh adventure taking all of us further into developments of clients, ships and trades.
