Alternator for Kingston
In August, SeaWorks has successfully arranged the shipment of an alternator of about of 72 Metric ton for Wartsila and found together with SeaWorks’ partner Incotrans a solution to ship by the service of CMA CGM to Kingston Jamaica.
Client had asked Savino del Bene in Finland to transport same and who arranged for the pre-carriage to Hamburg and from there on SeaWorks managed the shipment, including transshipment and stowage arrangements on board the container-ship. Through dedication the shipment solution came to shape.
The cargo was punctually loaded, well stowed and on time under way to Jamaica. SeaWorks is proud to have worked together with such professional partners in arranging a successful, tailor made, transportation solution, creating the difference which was chosen by Wartsila. In the meantime, the cargo has been discharged and delivered to the receivers in Jamaica and the transport has been conducted to the full satisfaction of the stakeholders.
SeaWorks operates a fleet of modern box shaped multipurpose tween-deck, shallow draft vessels in the Atlantic Basin. Sizes ranging from 8.000 to 12.000 Metric-tons deadweight and lifting capacities up to 160 metric-tons.
