Tell us about when SeaWorks was established, who the owners are and where your office(s) are located.

SeaWorks was established in January 2013 by Stefan Pompe and Tjeerd Veldhuizen, former directors of Intermarine LLC and previously owners of Trinitas BV. Basically, SeaWorks is the continuation of Trinitas BV where Stefan Pompe and Tjeerd Veldhuizen had built up a vast service network, especially to South America. SeaWorks’ HQ is in the Netherlands with an offices in Santos and Antwerp. We also have partnerships in Hamburg, Buenos Aires and Montevideo.

Delivery of Mv Yupeng

HongFa Shipping and SeaWorks are pleased to announce to have taken delivery of a fifth heavy-lift vessel in the fleet Mv Yupeng. The new built Chinese vessel is not an identical sister to the four ships currently in the fleet, but differs by design and type of crew. The Yupeng technical features include;
  • two 240 Metric ton Heavy Lift Cranes making her excellently geared for the handling of heavy cargoes.
  • 199.80 meter length, 27,80 meter width and a deck length of over 115 meters
  • 29774 Metric ton deadweight.
  • Triple deck in her 4 Holds, all adjustable in height

Logs in Uruguay

Recently HongFa Shipping and SeaWorks have been awarded with a contract to transport 90 thousands metric tons of pine logs for the Chinese timber industry. These logs, averaging 6 meters in length, have been loaded in Uruguay on the Mv Chang Jiang, one of the Multi-Purpose carrier Hong Fa operates in the line to and from South America .

Intermodal Sao Paulo, April 2017

SeaWorks and Hong Fa participated in the Intermodal South America 2017 which was held on 4th to 6thApril at the Transamerica Expo Center in Sao Paulo, Brazil. This was the 23rd edition of the event, which is the world’s second-largest and Latin America’s largest trade fair for the industry. The event welcomed around 45,400 visitors from over 60 countries, hosted 600 exhibitors from around the globe all operating in the logistic industry.
