SeaWorks is proud to have been at the base of the maiden voyage to Argentina of Mv. Yu Peng, the Dalian Maritime University’s ship for education of maritime officers. The 30,000 Mtns MPP vessel has carried about 15,000 Mtns of big bags to the port of Bahia Blanca where all cargo was discharged smoothly without damages. Mv. Yu Peng is carrying about 78 students on board on this voyage who are taught the navigation and stowage, cargo handling of break-bulk cargoes. This is a clear signal that Hong Fa Shipping is investing in quality sailors for their MPP fleet for now and in the future.

On her maiden port call to Salvador, Brazil Mv Yu Peng discharged 6 ultralong windmill blades. The discharge operation was witnessed by the 78 cadets on board of this Dalian Maritime University trainings vessel operated by Hong Fa Shipping Co.

In August, SeaWorks has successfully arranged the shipment of an alternator of about of 72 Metric ton for Wartsila and found together with SeaWorks’ partner Incotrans a solution to ship by the service of CMA CGM to Kingston Jamaica. Client had asked Savino del Bene in Finland to transport same and who arranged for the pre-carriage to Hamburg and from there on SeaWorks managed the shipment, including transshipment and stowage arrangements on board the container-ship. Through dedication the shipment solution came to shape.

SeaWorks has managed successfully the project of the refinery extension for Axion by shipping almost 40,000 revenue tons of refinery equipment from Gaolan, China to Campana, Argentina which was contracted by Axion through freight forwarders Messrs. Geodis. The cargo was shipped on the multipurpose vessels of Messrs. Hong Fa Shipping which ships are excellently equipped for this type of cargo; more than 8,000 square meters under deck space and crane capacity up to 520mtons. SeaWorks the Netherlands, together with their local Argentinean partner, Platetrade, coordinated the shipments and quantities including the discharge at Campana.
