Special steels require special care. SeaWorks’ client ordered special steel for Canada. After carefully considering the option, SeaWorks decided to arrange the transport by containers. In that way the steel would be arriving in the same condition as being loaded with the least risk of scratches which had to be avoided.

Regular cargoes have been shipped during the past months. In June though a highlight and summer shipment! 4 high value yachts were booked by SeaWorks and loaded in Palma for Baltic destination.

Circular economy
The new economy to take care of our planet is called circular economy. Everything is labelled and in this way can be re-used. Plastic parts for instance which can not be re-used are then to be used as fuel. SeaWorks, working on tailormade solutions for a diversity of goods, manage such shipments of waste for powergeneration.
This waste is packed in bales to be loaded and stowed in a tight way. SeaWorks arranged another transport from Ireland to the final destination, powerplants in Denmark which use this commodity as energy source.

Generator equipment for Argentina
It was a long and beautiful summer. Two pieces of generators had to find their way to Argentina. SeaWorks arranged for the transport of two units, each 13meter long and weighing 118mtons. The cargo was loaded from Italy, where our local partners arranged for the lashing and seafastening, all the way through to Buenos Aires within 35 days transit time.
The cargo was safely and sound discharged at Buenos Aires where our local partner arranged for a smooth delivery to the client who was very satisfied with the swift and precise service! In the meantime the two generators have been installed.
