Cable reels UK to Brazil

The Port of Newcastle in the United Kingdom was the start of SCL Angela’s Decembers southbound voyage. After having served as a ‘feeder’ vessel for GE Oil & Gas moving full and empty cable drums between the port of Blyth and the port of Newcastle the Angela loaded 11 heavy cable reels for a dedicated voyage to Vitoria, Brazil.

Woodpulp loaded Salvador, Brazil

The Mv Chang Jiang, one of Hong Fa’s Blue Whale series, sailed from Salvador, Brazil mid October 2015 with 15.000 metric ton of wood pulp on board. This is the largest shipment of wood pulp ever carried one these type of ships and was loaded in less than two days.

SCL Akwaba discharging barge hatches at Belem

As part of an Amazon river-barge newbuilding project SeaWorks was awarded with the ocean carriage contract for a transport solution proposed earlier in the year. The project, consisting of 80 barge hatch pieces to be moved under deck from Belgium to Brazil, including the pre-loading transport design, packaging, (warranty) survey, on- and off-loading till landed on Amazon river barges.

Maiden Voyage Zarate MV HuangHe

On her maiden voyage from China the Mv HuangHe discharged over 3000 metric tons project-, general-, pipe- and steel- cargo in the port of Zarate, Argentina. The discharge operation included several heavy pieces with units weights of 140 metric ton plus.

Maiden Voyage Itaqui MV Chang Jiang

SeaWorks, general agents in Brazil, Argentina, Uruguay and Paraguay for Messrs. Hong Fa, successfully and safely discharged a complete cement factory in Itaqui, Brazil from Mv Chang Jiang’s decks and holds on her maiden voyage from China.
